About Unifhi
Built by the team that has been building healthcare platforms since 2014.
Unifhi is a product of Zaavya LLC, a Texas-based technology consulting and implementation firm. Zaavya was founded in 2014 by former IBM and AWS enterprise architects.
We did not arrive at prior authorization and 340B reconciliation from the outside. We got here after years of building the integration and data platforms underneath healthcare operations. The same coordination problems appeared in every one.
Origin
Where Unifhi came from.
The pattern kept repeating
Across healthcare implementations, the systems were connected and the work between them still broke. Requirements lived in one place, evidence in another, and the person who could resolve an exception never saw it in time.
The platforms were already there
We had built the interface and data layers. HL7 v2, FHIR, X12, and CDA. Integrations across EHR, clearinghouse, billing, and financial systems. What was missing was governed workflow on top of them.
Configuration, not code
Business rules belong in reviewable configuration, not hardcoded across application layers. That is how Zaavya builds platforms, and it is why Unifhi represents payer requirements as versioned configuration your experts approve.

The product
Unifhi, applied to a bounded workflow. One payer, one procedure group, one drug, one denial category, or one system boundary. We map the requirements, the data, the handoffs, and the baseline before anything is configured.
The services engagement
For organizations that need the platform work as well as the workflow, Zaavya delivers it as a scoped engagement. Integration, data platform, modernization, and analytics, led by the same senior architects who built the product.
Public sector
For public sector and DIR-eligible organizations.
Zaavya LLC is an approved vendor under the Texas Department of Information Resources Deliverables-Based IT Services contract, DIR-CPO-6227.
Eligible customers can engage Zaavya for project-based IT services without running a separate procurement. Work is scoped and priced through a written Statement of Work. The awarded categories are Application Development, Maintenance and Support, and Business Intelligence, Data Management, Analytics and Automation.
Public hospital districts, state agencies, local government, and public education are among the entity types eligible to purchase through DIR. If you are unsure whether your organization qualifies, ask us and we will confirm before either side invests time.
